Forwarding Team manager

About the company:

A well-known international company with the HQ in Korea and a wide range of operational locations all over the world. The branch of the international company operating in Kazakhstan is providing logistics and other related services to the big production companies.

In the light of the expanding business the company is looking for experienced professionals.

Forwarding Team manager position is reporting to Head of Forwarding team

Main Duties:

1) Organization of multimodal cargo transportation (sea + rail, air + road), air, road, rail;

2) Coordination, verification and approval of shipping documents between all participants in the processes;

4) Daily updating of cargo location;

5) Preparation of cost estimates, maintenance of registers and reports, payment control, interaction with the financial and accounting departments;

6) Control over the performance of specialists' work;

7) Management of cargo transportation from point A to point B;

8) Interaction with clients, carriers, partners;

9) Control of each stage of cargo transportation: planning, coordination, control of deadlines;

10) Maintenance of registers of payments with clients and partners;

11) Conclusion of Contracts and Agreements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree

• Knowledge of logistics theoretical foundations, knowledge of Incoterms, understanding of areas of responsibility along the cargo route.

• English: intermediate – advanced
