About the team
On The Spot is in the process of building a team for a fast-growing startup in the casual gaming industry. The company focuses on developing engaging HTML5 games for a wide range of clients and is currently looking to add a skilled HTML5 Game Developer to their team.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced HTML5 Game Developer to join the team we’re building for our client. In this role, you will be responsible for both maintaining existing games and developing new ones using HTML5, NextJS, and Phaser.
You'll collaborate closely with designers and other developers to bring new game ideas to life, ensuring high-quality standards in design, performance, and user experience.
The developer will work on creating new games using modern technologies such as HTML5, NextJS, and Phaser.
Responsibilities
- Develop new games using HTML5, Next.js, and Phaser
- Collaborate with the team to design and develop new game features
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Test and debug games to ensure they meet the quality standards
- Work with the team to identify and fix bugs
- Participate in daily meetings to discuss progress and plan tasks
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in HTML5 game development
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, JS, Next.js, and Phaser
- Experience with React (version 18)
- Good understanding of game development principles and best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of the team
- Good communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members
- English language proficiency (B1 level or higher)
