Python Team Lead

Vebtech is seeking an experienced Python Team Lead (5+ years) to join growing team and lead backend development for innovative EdTech solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build a backend system that can grow with the platform;

• Lead the development team and help it grow as the product evolves;

• Review code, guide teammates, and support their growth;

• Work with the Product Owner to plan technical goals;

• Write server-side logic for mobile apps using Python and similar tools;

• English level B2 or higher (confident reading, writing, and communication).

• Work with other team members to meet business needs.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience in Python backend development;

• At least 2 years of experience in a Team Lead or Tech Lead role;

• Experience with modern web frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask;

• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases;

• Practical experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure);

• Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation;

• English level B2 or higher.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with high-load systems (1M+ users);

• Background in EdTech or similar fields;

• Experience integrating AI/ML models into production;

• Familiarity with Docker and DevOps practices;

• Understanding of CI/CD and automated testing.
