Senior C# developer

We are looking for a Senior .NET developer for remote work.

Our client is a European fintech product developer with its HQ in Amsterdam. It was founded in 2019.

It’s a digital bank, a high-load B2B solution that integrates banking functions, accounting, and financial management for small and medium-sized businesses.

The company has expanded its reach across 10+ EU countries, with a strong presence in key markets such as Germany and France.

Over the past two years, Finom has fuelled exponential growth, securing $105 million in investments and propelling us into hyper-growth mode.

Besides HQ, there are 3 offices in Paphos, Barcelona, Krakow, and overall, formed engineering hubs in Serbia, Poland, Portugal, Armenia, and Georgia.

Currently, 550 employees work in different countries at Finam.

About the role

You will be a part of some product development verticals as a Senior backend developer.

Your future tasks

• Design and develop new product features, maintain and improve existing ones

• Crafting elegant C# code for a microservices ecosystem.

• Design an architecture.

• Solve high-load technical challenges.

• Participate in code reviews and help the team grow.

• Making strategic technical decisions, considering product requirements and business goals, as well as optimising system performance and scalability.

• Backend: C#, .NET Core 8

• Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis

• Cloud: AWS, Google Cloud (primarily Google)

• Message Queues: RabbitMQ, Kafka

• DevOps: Kubernetes, Docker, Prometheus, Grafana

We expect from you

• 5+ years of C# development experience at Senior or Lead roles.

• Experience with .NET Core and message brokers (RabbitMQ or Kafka).

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL at the optimisation level.

• Experience with CI/CD and containerization processes, knowledge of Kubernetes.

• Background in tech product companies with short release cycles.

• Skills in system design, deep understanding of microservice architecture principles.

• Product mindset, team player.

• English language at B2+ level (internal communications will be in English).

• Your time zone and location (GMT-GMT+5, except Russia and Belarus).
