Junior Backend Developer (Node.js)

Role Description

We are hiring a Junior Backend Developer to join our tech team full-time and on-site at our Tashkent office. This role is ideal for early-career developers who are eager to grow, learn from experienced engineers, and contribute to real-world educational platforms.

Note: The first 1–3 months will be a trial period to evaluate performance and compatibility with the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using Fastify and NestJS
• Work with MongoDB and Mongoose for database modeling and queries
• Build robust backends using TypeScript, applying type safety and interfaces
• Use JSON Schema for schema-based validation
• Write clean, asynchronous code using Promises and async/await
• Document APIs using tools like Postman or Swagger
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers and QA
• Use Git and follow version control best practices
• English B2

Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming
• Familiarity with Node.js and event-driven architecture
• Experience or familiarity with Fastify and/or NestJS frameworks
• Knowledge of TypeScript and interface-driven development
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and HTTP methods/status codes
• Experience with MongoDB and Mongoose
• Comfortable working with Git and GitHub/GitLab
