As a GM&E Sales Executive, you will fully support, from administrative, customer service, and sale lead development perspectives, the Sales team to develop future and repeat business. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

What does GM&E SALES EXECUTIVE do in a Hotel?

  • Identify new contacts, develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities in order to maximize revenue
  • Understand fully the hotel amenities, packages, and promotions
  • Generate and develop sales leads and contact potential clients to build business relationships
  • Produce quotations and written confirmation to all clients
  • Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Sales Director and senior management to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leads
  • Monitor customer satisfaction regularly and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure future business
  • Arrange and carry out Hotel show rounds

GM&E Sales Manager Manages Groups, Meetings and Events Department to ensure efficient and professional assistance with the meetings and banquets resulting in client satisfaction and hotel profitability.

What does GM&E SALES MANAGER do in a Hotel?

  • Oversees the management, training and career development of GM&E Sales Department.
  • Recruits and identifies candidates for management and administrative support positions.
  • Supervises staff to meet Hilton standards.
  • Formulates and administers department operations to include work schedules, account assignments, and strategic plans to maintain Hilton GM&E standards and procedures.
  • Inputs and retrieves information from computer system for file maintenance, correspondence, and sales and marketing input.
  • Supports sales and marketing efforts by providing technical assistance and advice as well as recommending specific hotel improvements of services for clients, resulting in greater client satisfaction and group bookings.
  • Services account load.
  • Acts as liaison between clients and all hotel departments, analyzing and deciphering large amounts of oral and written data and effectively organizes and acts on the information to ensure client satisfaction and hotel profitability.
  • Maintains an open line of communication between clients and hotel staff.
  • Desings agreements for the guests and BEOs for hotel employees.
  • Develops working relationships with vendors and suppliers who provide services to groups and associations.
  • Coordinates the visual inspection and maintenance of public function space and equipment condition to ensure Hilton standards are maintained.

What is required for this position?

  • Previous experience in hotel sphere
  • Comfortable to work both in an office based role and on-the-floor client facing duties
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent Kazakh, Russian and English languages
