Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
- Optimize and refactor existing database code for performance and scalability.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions.
- Work with large transaction-based financial datasets ensuring high data integrity and security.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes between systems and databases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related performance issues.
- Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Contribute to database design reviews, performance tuning strategies, and architecture improvements.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements relevant to the fintech sector.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture, performance tuning, and indexing strategies.
- Proven experience in the fintech domain, working with payment systems, core banking, or financial transaction processing.
- Solid understanding of financial data flows, reconciliation, and reporting requirements.
- Experience with ETL development and batch processing using PL/SQL.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and understanding query plans.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN).
- Ability to write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Oracle Financial Services products (Flexcube, OBIEE, etc.).
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs for integration with external systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in fintech environments (PCI DSS, GDPR).
- Experience in CI/CD pipelines for database deployments.
