Senior Java Full Stack Developer

Role responsibilities

Design and develop software and configurations in accordance with applicable guidelines regarding quality assurance, scalability, reliability, architecture, privacy and security, with the aim of creating products and / or domain systems to fulfil the needs of the customer. Works with the most complex and unique assignments with accountability of end results with high business impact. Guides and supports more junior colleagues.
Candidates must be located within the GDPR zone (EU or UK).

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in full-stack software development with a strong focus on Java (Java 17+).

• Solid hands-on experience with Spring Boot and microservice architecture.

• Proficiency in designing and building RESTful APIs and integrating authentication using OAuth2.

• Strong knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, and Web Components for frontend development.

• Experience with reactive programming using RxJS.

• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.

• Experience with containerized environments using Docker.

• Familiarity with code quality tools and version control systems (Sonar, Git, Bitbucket).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Bitbucket Pipelines, Gradle, Nexus, and Sonar.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in Agile teams.

• Fluent English communication skills (B2+ level or higher).

Nice to have

• Experience with PostgreSQL and JOOQ for advanced database access.

• Hands-on experience with AWS services including S3, SQS, and SNS.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.

• Familiarity with Auth0 for identity management and access control.

• Experience with OpenSearch and Datadog for logging and monitoring.

• 7+ years of total development experience, with a senior-level mindset and initiative.
