Remote Accountant (Client-Facing Role – UAE Consulting Firm)

We are a fast-growing consulting company based in Dubai, providing end-to-end business setup, accounting, and tax support to international entrepreneurs in the UAE. We are looking for a remote accountant who is not only confident in accounting and taxation in the UAE, but also enjoys working with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting operations in compliance with IFRS standards.

• Consult clients and compute taxes, including preparation and filing of VAT returns and corporate tax.

• Prepare and maintain financial reports: VAT return reports, balance sheets, profit/loss statements, etc.

• Conduct account reconciliations; support month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Audit financial transactions and ensure proper accounting control procedures are in place.

• Keep up-to-date with UAE’s financial policies, regulations, and legislation.

• Support and collaborate with the IT team to improve and modify the CRM-based accounting module.

• Record daily transactions and maintain accurate financial records.

• Handle accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, and payment follow-up.

• Collaborate with auditors and provide all required financial documentation.

• Perform regular health checks of client accounts to ensure compliance and avoid penalties.

• Provide client consultations in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, and UAE legislation.

• Participate in client onboarding and help prepare commercial offers for accounting services.

• Build and maintain long-term client relationships, identifying opportunities to upsell services.
