Support engineer

We are looking for a highly detail-oriented and analytical specialist to support and enhance our clients' (banks from UAE) regulatory reporting processes as well as manage and improve related ETL pipelines. The role includes daily operational activities, error corrections, data quality reviews, and change implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily processing and monitoring of batch submissions to the banks

• Handling data corrections, including exception analysis and re-submissions

• Monthly Data Quality execution and reporting

• Management of complaint cases, including updates and resolution

• Maintenance and improvement of ETL processes using SAP, Talend, and Informatica

• Implementation of change requests

• Collaborating with business and technical teams to ensure compliance and performance

• Ensuring production system integrity and adhering to change control procedures

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in SQL

• Understanding of data structures, integrity constraints, and relational logic

• Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica, SAP Data Services) or willingness to explore these tools independently

• Familiarity with data anomaly detection and remediation practices

• Experience in production environments and managing risk of unregulated changes

• Fluent English (Upper-Intermediate written and spoken) is a must
