Python Developer

Andersen invites a Python Developer to join a project with a UK-based global leader in digital learning solutions. The role involves customer integration via APIs/EDI, ebook content and metadata management, order processing, and system integration with Salesforce and SAP.

Serving over three million users across more than 5,000 institutions worldwide, it offers advanced content discovery, learner analytics, and digital textbooks to support the future of higher education.

The role focuses on integrating customers via APIs/EDI, managing ebook content and metadata, supporting order processing, and integrating with Salesforce and SAP systems.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining Python-based solutions.
• Building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Collaborating using Git for version control.
• Deploying and managing containerised applications in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Developing and deploying APIs and microservices using Flask on Linux.
• Writing and optimising SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
• Integrating data and services across systems, including Salesforce and SAP.
• Analysing requirements and resolving issues in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Following secure coding practices and documentation standards.

Must-haves:

• Сomercial experience in data integration and process automation for 3+ years.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, especially ADO and AKS.
• Solid understanding of Git and CI/CD best practices.
• Comfortable working in Linux-based environments.
• Expertise in SQL development and data manipulation.
• Experience building RESTful APIs with Flask.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• Previous work integrating with Salesforce and/or SAP systems.
• Background in enterprise-scale data integration or process automation.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
