We are looking for a Senior Cloud DWH Architect.

Your main tasks will be:

• Lead the migration of an existing MS SQL Server data warehouse to Google BigQuery;
• Design, implement, and optimize a robust and scalable cloud data architecture tailored to business needs;
• Develop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt or any other transformation framework for seamless data transformation and integration;
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and align the architecture with business objectives;
• Ensure high performance, security, and cost-efficiency of the new cloud data platform;
• Establish best practices for data modelling, query optimization, and data governance in the cloud environment;
• You’ll work on a greenfield migration project, shaping the future of our data platform from day one;
• Be part of a tech-driven team building modern solutions at scale (processing multiple TBs of data daily);
• Get full ownership and leadership responsibility for the modern tech stack cloud data architecture.

We expect from you:

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and associated services;
• Knowledge of best practices for cloud data security, compliance, and cost management;
• Proven expertise in Google BigQuery, including data modelling, schema design, and performance tuning;
• Proficiency in Python is mandatory.

Nice to have:

• Solid understanding of MS SQL Server and experience migrating workloads to the cloud;
• Experience with dbt for building and managing transformation workflows.;
• Experience with Superset, Looker, SSRS (or other BI solutions);
• Exposure to other cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.;
• Experience implementing data governance frameworks;
• Knowledge of modern DevOps practices and version control systems like Git.

Ваши основные задачи:

• Руководство миграцией существующего хранилища данных на MS SQL Server в Google BigQuery;

• Проектирование, реализация и оптимизация надёжной и масштабируемой облачной архитектуры данных в соответствии с потребностями бизнеса;

• Разработка и сопровождение ETL/ELT-процессов с использованием dbt или других фреймворков трансформации данных;

• Взаимодействие с заинтересованными сторонами для сбора требований и выстраивания архитектуры, соответствующей бизнес-целям;

• Обеспечение высокой производительности, безопасности и экономической эффективности новой облачной платформы данных;

• Внедрение лучших практик моделирования данных, оптимизации запросов и управления данными в облаке;

• Участие в проекте миграции с нуля, возможность с самого начала формировать будущее нашей платформы данных;

• Работа в технологически ориентированной команде, создающей современные решения для обработки больших объёмов данных (ежедневно обрабатываются терабайты информации);

• Полная ответственность и лидерство в построении современной облачной архитектуры данных.

Наши ожидания:

• Знание облачных платформ (в приоритете — GCP) и сопутствующих сервисов;

• Понимание лучших практик в области облачной безопасности, соответствия требованиям и управления затратами;

• Подтверждённая экспертиза в Google BigQuery: моделирование данных, проектирование схем, настройка производительности;

• Обязательное знание Python.

Будет плюсом:

• Опыт работы с MS SQL Server и участие в миграции систем в облако;

• Опыт работы с dbt для построения и поддержки процессов трансформации данных;

• Знакомство с Superset, Looker, SSRS или другими BI-инструментами;

• Опыт работы с другими облачными платформами (AWS, Azure);

• Опыт внедрения фреймворков управления данными (data governance);

• Знание современных практик DevOps и систем контроля версий, таких как Git.
