Salary: $250-300 and there is a potential to increase subject to additional responsibilities

Opportunity: we are offering a driven and motivated Hotel Virtual Assistant a unique opportunity to join the transformation of a traditional bed and breakfast into a modern and innovative accommodation experience for our guests.

As the Hotel Virtual Assistant is expected to be a pivotal part of the transformation of the hotel, driving the profitability of hotel, and responsible for the successful daily running operation of all areas of the business (front and back of house). You will:

1. report directly to the owners of the hotel (group of three entrepreneurs) and the hotel manager and have all of the necessary support from the owners to grow with the business personally, professionally and financially.

2. be a great communicator who demonstrates passion for our brand by engaging regularly with our guests including answering guest inquiries (email, online booking platforms and calls) and resolving any issues as well as book reservations made over the call/email.

3. ensure guest have been charged for the stay, door codes are set up for all doors and have been emailed to the guest.

4. manage social media and favourable image of the Hotel by regularly posting and updating the Hotel’s e-content on social media (Instagram, Facebook, etc). Frequency of such postings shall be minimum once a week.

5. Upload expense receipts to accounting software, categorising expenses and tracking monthly financial reports.

6. there may be other tasks based on business need as on and when directed by the hotel owners or the hotel manager.

You: you need to be able to demonstrate your previous or current customer service experience and fluency in English language.

Hotel: this is a privately owned and independent hotel comprising 20 ensuite bedrooms with all the usual amenities. The hotel is located on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, Bronte Country, the UK and only 10 minutes’ drive from the pretty market town of Skipton.
