Infrastructure Specialist / Инженер по инфраструктуре

Purpose:

The Infrastructure Engineer role is to provide support, maintenance within the organization's IT infrastructure in the International parameter; Corporate offices, Africa and Brazil. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading equipment including but not limited to Cisco UCS, Dell, HPE, Netapp, Veeam and VMWare to ensure optimal user experience availability and access.

Responsibilities:

• ​Improvements, implementation, administration, maintenance and system upgrades of Netapp environments

  Continuously improve the Netapp environment to make sure Storage environment functions as good as it could be. This includes Dell Powerstore, unity and powervault, NetAppOntap, Santricity HPE Nimble storage. Including Dell S5224F-on and Mellanox switches.

• Improvements, implementation, administration, maintenance and system upgrades of Cisco UCS environments

  This role has a large focus to continuously improve the Compute environment to make sure server environment functions as good as it could be by supporting Cisco UCS and Dell servers.

• Constantly monitor and update existing environment to ensure optimal performance.

  Monitoring (Zabbix/Solarwinds) is a large part of the responsibility of the Infrastructure team. Make sure all devices in networking environment are properly monitored and action is taken before any downtime occurs.

• Improvements, implementation, administration, maintenance and system upgrades of Veeam environments

  Сontinuously improve the Veeam environment to make sure Backup environment functions as good as it could be.

Requirements:

• Location: Astana;
• Bachelor's or equivalent (IT);
• Proven 3+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering;
• Experienced in managing Dell storage, Dell computers, Netapp and Cisco UCS environment;
• Experienced in Veeam back-up;
• Experienced in VMWare;
• Experience with ITSM like Servicenow;
• Certification - ITIL, or Cisco UCS, Dell storage, HPE or Netapp;

• Knowledge of Microsoft products like SQL, Windows Server and other Microsoft products, Powershell;

• No nine-to-five attitude. Out of hours’ work will be part of this opening, when necessary;

• English - Upper-Intermediate (highly desirable).
