Central Asian University is announcing a vacancy for the position of International Career Coordinator, who will play a key role in supporting students and graduates in building successful careers both in Uzbekistan and abroad. We are seeking a proactive and communicative professional who is ready to develop international partnerships, organize career-related events, and provide comprehensive support to students at all stages of their professional journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Career Counseling: Conduct individual and group career counseling sessions to assist students and graduates with career planning, resume writing, interview preparation, and job searching.
- Support for International Students: Facilitate employment opportunities for international students in Uzbekistan or in their home countries.
- Support for Local Students: Assist local students in finding internships, educational programs, and job opportunities abroad.
- Event Organization: Plan and conduct workshops, seminars, and career fairs aimed at developing students’ professional skills and ensuring their successful transition into the workforce.
- Employer Engagement: Establish and nurture partnerships with local, regional, and international employers. Organize on-campus recruitment and networking events.
- Program Development: Collaborate with the Head of the Career Center to design and implement professional development programs that meet students’ needs and labor market demands.
- Resource Development: Create and regularly update reference materials on career planning and job search strategies (guides, templates, instructional materials).
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze employment data, employer engagement levels, and prepare regular reports to assess the effectiveness of career services.
Candidate Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in International Relations,Education, Sociology, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Experience in career counseling, student support, recruitment, or talent development.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel,PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to build professional relationships and organize events.
- Fluency in Uzbek, Russian, and English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus).
- Organizational skills, initiative, and a strong commitment to supporting students' professional growth.
