Middle+ Python Developer

Algorithmic Brains - IT company with a development center in Minsk. We have been working since 2018. We create products in the field of Fintech, Edutech, HRtech, Medtech. We work for the American, Azerbaijani, Canadian markets.

We are looking for a Middle+ Python Developer on a FinTech project.

Work experience: 3+ years.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement new functionality.

2. Training and mentoring junior developers and interns.

3. Review code.

4. Functional refactoring.

5. Writing unit tests.

6. Researching bugs and fixing them.

7. Participate in the rollout of new products and features by collaborating with other teams.

Requirements:

1. Understanding the importance of testing your own code;

2. Understanding what microservice and monolithic architectures are and why they are needed.

3. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

4. Ability to solve multiple tasks at the same time.

5. The ability to "think outside the box" in identifying problems and developing creative solutions.

6. Attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

Skills and knowledge:

1. 3+ years of experience in Python as a primary language for production development;

2. Experience in Docker and familiarity with microservices and scalable systems;

3. Knowledge of and experience with Django, DRF;

4. Strong knowledge of DBMS: PostgreSQL

5. Knowledge of NoSQL: Redis.

6. Level of English – B1(Intermediate);

7. Experience working with message brokers;

8. Knowledge of Docker, Docker-compose, AWS

9. Agile processes

10. Configuration CI\CD, autodeployment to cloud, Git flow variants

11. Knowledge\understanding ООП \ SOLID \ REST

Education:

BS/MS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/STEM
Or courses with experience at commercial projects.
