Android Developer

Andersen, an international IT company, invites an Android Developer to join its team on a project in the field of Banking.

The customer is an innovative bank and a leader in the financial market of Kazakhstan since 1997. It has more than 100 branches across the country. The bank offers a wide range of financial services and products. The customer actively develops digital platforms and mobile applications to provide convenient access to banking services anytime and anywhere.

The project is the development of a mobile banking application for individual clients. The focus is on a standard digital banking experience, including a wide range of financial services. The team is responsible for the product catalog, which covers various card types (VIP, installment, multi-currency, co-branded, etc.), deposits, and bonus programs.

Technology stack on the project: Jetpack Compose, Android System WebView, DeepLink, AppLink, WorkManager, Coordinator Layout, Constraint Layout, Custom View, gRPC, Protobuf, QUIC, HTTP3, TLS, Hilt, KeyChain, RealmDB, Clean Arch + MVVM.

Responsibilities:

• Participating in application architecture design (MVP, MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture).
• Developing new features and modules.
• Integrating external APIs and internal backend services.
• Optimizing application performance.
• Writing secure and scalable code.
• Conducting code reviews and developing tests (unit, UI, integration).
• Following development standards and maintaining code quality.
• Working closely with the product team to meet requirements.
• Mentoring junior developers.
• Setting up CI/CD processes and managing dependencies.

Must-haves:

• Experience as an Android Developer for 3+ years.
• Good knowledge of IT fundamentals and principles SOLID, OOP.
• Experience with Android System WebView.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose for building modern Android UIs.
• Experience with routing DeepLink, AppLink, WorkManager.
• gRPC experience using Protobuf models, QUIC, HTTP3, TLS encryption.
• Hilt experience in multi-module DataStore.
• Experience with RealmDB Clean Arch and MVVM.
• Level of English – from Intermediate.
