Senior Data Engineer

TouchSoft is hiring. We are a worldwide software service provider and currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field;

- Emphasis on Databricks and Apache Spark (PySpark preferred);

- Experience with Airflow for orchestration;

- Delta Lake, Databricks environment;

- Snowflake or other cloud-based data warehouses;

- Strong understanding of data pipelines, including real-time and batch ingestion;

- Experience working with medallion/lakehouse architecture (Bronze → Silver → Gold layers);

- Understanding of data lineage, quality controls, and operational monitoring.

Responsibilities:

- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks and Apache Spark (PySpark);

- Develop and orchestrate workflows using Apache Airflow, ensuring robust and timely data delivery;

- Implement and manage medallion architecture (Bronze → Silver → Gold layers) to support structured data lakehouse environments;

- Integrate and optimize data flow into Delta Lake, ensuring consistency, versioning, and performance;

- Work with Snowflake or other cloud-based data warehouses to support cross-platform data exchange and analytics;

- Ensure high standards of data quality, lineage tracking, and operational monitoring throughout pipeline lifecycles.
