Hardware Engineer (collaborative robots)

ASBIS is one of the leading distributors of Information and Communications Technology products and solutions in EMEA Emerging Markets. We are searching an experienced Hardware Engineer to join our team of professionals in the field of collaborative robots

Main tasks:

• Development of mechanical components (robot mounts, grippers, external modules, etc.);
• Demo cases based on robotic arms (developed in house);
• Writing scripts for the robots, testing result descriptions;
• Implementation of robotic solutions and mass production factory optimization of processes;
• Integration of hardware and software solutions into different areas (factories, logistics, food industry, HoReCa).

Requirements:

• Experience in creating automated complexes, including those based on robots;
• Experience in building automation cabinets (PLCs, protection modules, safety modules);
• Knowledge of electronics and microcontroller programming (experience in designing devices of medium complexity);
• Experience in developing industrial complexes based on collaborative robots (UR, Dobot, Aubo, etc.);
• Experience in writing Python programs for collaborative robots;
• Skill and experience in 3D modeling (solid, fusion, etc.);
• Positive experience of communication with both customers and contractors;
• Experience of working with industrial power systems (electrics, pneumatics, vacuum, hydraulics;
• Good knowledge of English.
