About the Project

The Uzbekistan Digital Inclusion Project is the first World Bank-financed initiative aimed at accelerating the digital economy in Uzbekistan. It supports the “Strategy of Digital Uzbekistan 2030” and the “Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022–2026.”
The project targets policy reform, infrastructure development, and digital skills training — especially for youth, women, and persons with disabilities — to boost employment in the IT-enabled services (ITES) sector and promote Uzbekistan as an outsourcing destination.

Key Responsibilities

The Training Monitoring Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and evaluating all training activities under the project’s Component 1.1, ensuring quality, diversity, and effectiveness of the training programs.

Your duties will include:

• Organizing and monitoring training programs delivered by consulting firms and trainers across regions.

• Supervising delivery of IT, language, and soft skills training, including specialized training for people with disabilities.

• Maintaining accurate records of participation, including demographic data.

• Ensuring high-quality training delivery and documenting any shortcomings.

• Communicating regularly with consultants, stakeholders, and development partners.

• Preparing monthly work plans and reports on program participation, impact, and employment outcomes.

• Supporting other team members and assignments as directed by the Client and PIU.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Economics, Project Management, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in training program design, monitoring, or evaluation.

• Proven experience organizing or managing training courses, especially in education or social inclusion projects.

• Proficiency in Uzbek is required; Russian and English are desirable.

• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Familiarity with M&E (Monitoring and Evaluation) tools in training programs is an advantage.

Work Conditions

• Full-time position based in Tashkent with regional monitoring visits as required.

• IT Park will provide office space, necessary equipment, and internet access.

• Time-based payment model; the contract may be extended based on project needs.
