Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Procurement Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the procurement process, from strategic sourcing and vendor selection to contract negotiation and supplier relationship management. This role requires a strong understanding of international procurement practices and the ability to operate effectively within a complex, multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectives and optimize cost-efficiency and quality.
- Lead the end-to-end procurement process, including market analysis, supplier identification, RFQ/RFP management, bid evaluation, and contract negotiation.
- Manage a portfolio of suppliers, ensuring strong relationships, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies, procedures, and international regulations.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including engineering, production, finance, and legal departments, to understand requirements and facilitate timely and effective procurement.
- Identify and mitigate procurement risks, including supply chain disruptions and quality issues.
- Utilize data and analytics to drive informed procurement decisions and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in procurement.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in Procurement within international private companies is essential. Demonstrated ability to navigate complex global supply chains and work across different cultural contexts.
- Ideally, experience in the aerospace or related industries (e.g., defense, automotive, complex manufacturing) is highly desirable. A solid understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of these sectors is a significant advantage.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and tracking procurement activities.
- Negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of contract law and commercial terms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Native fluency in Russian is mandatory
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken) / TOEIC 785 minimum
- Ideally, some knowledge of German or French would be a significant advantage..
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
