Inventory Accountant

About the Role:

We are looking for a responsible, ambitious, and proactive Inventory Accountant to join our team. This role involves the full cycle of material accounting, including working with electronic invoicing (ЭСФ), shipping notes (СНТ), and the Virtual Warehouse module in the IS ESF system. The ideal candidate should have experience in foreign economic activity ВЭД (import, export, transit sales) and demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Issue and manage Electronic Invoices (ЭСФ) and Shipping Notes (СНТ) in compliance with legal and internal regulations
• Operate and maintain accurate records in the Virtual Warehouse (ИС ЭСФ)
• Handle documentation for import, export, and transit transactions
• Coordinate with logistics, customs, and finance teams to ensure smooth international trade processes
• Monitor material movement and reconcile inventory balances
• Identify and resolve discrepancies and issues in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with tax and customs regulations
• Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external audits

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Inventory or Materials Accountant
• Proficient in IS ESF system (ЭСФ, СНТ, Virtual Warehouse module)
• Strong understanding of foreign trade (import/export, transit sales)
• Solid knowledge of Kazakhstan tax/customs regulations (or your relevant country)
• High sense of responsibility and accuracy
• Fast response to operational problems and ability to propose quick solutions
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• English proficiency (at least intermediate level, B1-B2

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience working in 1C
• Prior experience in a trading or logistics company
• Fluency in English and Russian
